Pest Management Information sheet for Pine Processionary Moth
Stakeholders across Scotland’s plant health sectors consistently report difficulty accessing clear, concise and actionable information on significant plant pests relevant to their operations. While detailed technical information exists through official sources and sector-specific organisations, these resources are not always accessible or usable for non-specialist practitioners, particularly those responsible for operational decision-making and compliance.

Building on the production of 39 pest factsheets for GB Priority and Notifiable pests under PHC project PHC2022/08, the current project will expand this resource to capture many of the remaining ~150 GB Quarantine Pests listed on Annex II of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2072 for which no equivalent, practitioner-focused factsheets currently exist - and particularly for those of relevance in Scotland.
