The first International Plant Health Conference has been postponed until 28th June - 1st July 2021. Hosted by the government of Finland, the Conference theme is “Protecting Plant Health in a Changing World” and it will be one of the key events of the International Year of Plant Health.

Over the course of two hours, speakers from the Plant Health Centre will update you on our recent, current and potential projects - including recently completed research that assessed large-scale biosecurity risks to Scotland from landscaping and infra-structure plantings, non-specialist and online horticultural sales, and large-scale tree plantings for environmental benefits. There will be a mixture of live talks, and ‘anytime’ content that you can view when it suits you.

Following from the successful Plant Health Week 2020 (21-27 Sept) Defra is hosting the UK’s Plant Health Week 2021, in collaboration with multiple organisations in the plant and forestry sectors, which will include a number of events around the UK.
